Botox®
Botox ®Cosmetic has been used for decades to dramatically reduce unwanted facial lines. It is a purified protein that has been scientifically tested extensively for safe and effective use on the human body for numerous medical conditions. As an aesthetic tool for facial enhancement, it works by blocking the nerve impulse from reaching the target area, and as a result the muscle weakens.. As the muscle begins to relax, the wrinkles gradually soften, and then disappear. Botox® can alleviate such areas as the crow’s feet around the eyes, vertical lines of the upper lip, expression lines on the forehead, dimpling of the chin, and lines at the corners of the mouth. Another use is to create a brow lift by raising the lateral corner of the eyebrows. Treatment entails injecting a small quantity of serum with a very small needle into each site where you would like to see improvement. You will experience mild discomfort, and if you are ultra sensitive a topical anesthetic can be made available for you. Typically, full results are visible in 7 to 10 days. These injections are safe, and the only possible side effects are temporary and would apply only to the injection site. We use the Botox® Cosmetic recommended dosage of administration for optimal results. We recommend repeat treatment every 3 to 4 months for the first year. After that, regular maintenance visits vary for each individual. We do not recommend treatment if you are pregnant, or have a neurological disorder.
Restylane® & Juvederm
Dermal Fillers are an FDA approved facial enhancing substance containing a non-animal, synthetic form of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. This product is used to custom tailor the face by means of artistic facial sculpting. As the natural aging process occurs, there is a significant decrease in the production of hyaluronic acid in our cells. Hyaluronic acid attracts water, and water hydrates and plumps our skin. Thus, we develop wrinkles, folds, and loss of fullness in the contour of our face. The clear jellylike substance is injected in small amounts with an extremely fine needle. This is quite possibly the most common and useful cosmetic procedure available without any down time, minimal discomfort and a high level of patient satisfaction. This treatment utilizes a non-laser medical device that delivers gentle pulses of visible light onto the surface of your skin. This treatment provides gradual, natural improvement for rosacea, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, redness due to sensitivity, broken capillaries, sun damaged skin, and acne. If you feel you are especially sensitive, a topical anesthetic ointment can be made available to you. Due to the simplicity of this treatment, you can resume your normal activities right away. The only side effect of this treatment is mild to moderate flushing of the skin which subsides within a very short time. These treatments can be administered to all areas of the skin. A foundation of 6 treatments at two week intervals is recommended for optimal results. We do not recommend this treatment for patients who have a history of keloid formation, have active infections or lesions in the treatment area, or who are taking an oral isotretinoin, or Accutane.
Chemical Peels

These peels can be done alone, or in combination with microdermabrasion.
